Week 14

Welcome back! We come out of the Thanksgiving holiday with just about two weeks left in the term. We do not have any major assignments to worry about; instead, we are going to focus on fine tuning skills, working in the notebooks, and taking good care to end with more energy than when we started the term. An end of semester attendance policy is in place. Every absence from now to the end of the term will trigger a 15-point deduction.

During the first part of the week I plan on going over sections of the 20 common writing errors I posted earlier in the term. You will also work in small groups, analyzing the in class essay you completed last week.

Besides these activities, I would like for you to access your second essay that was submitted in Turnitin and look over two or three issues that were picked up by the system. Use the Turnitin handbook to define the problem. In your notebooks, define the issue, copy the error, and provide a correction.
